Managing Director / Asset Management and Leasing

Scott Schry serves as the Managing Director of Asset Management and Leasing for HRC and its related investment vehicles. He leads our Asset Management efforts across the portfolio and is integral in creating and overseeing the execution of each project’s individual business plan. Mr. Schry oversees the strategic vision put in place at acquisition and is involved in every stage of the value creation lifecycle, from initial investment to disposition. All property managers and leasing agents report to Mr. Schry, and he provides constant direction and feedback to ensure HRC’s vision for each project is systematically maintained and pursued.

Prior to HRC, Mr. Schry opened a Western U.S. office in Los Angeles and headed Asset Management for an institutional real estate fund manager with over $2 Billion under management. In this role, he was responsible for the asset management of $500 Million of retail real estate and negotiated the lease-up of approximately 250,000 square feet of vacant space. Over his tenure there, he also spent time in various positions overseeing transaction management, due diligence and fund reporting, and was instrumental in their institutional fundraising.

Mr. Schry also previously served as the Director of Investments for a commercial real estate investor in South Florida, Accesso Partners, where he successfully led their diversification into multiple asset classes, including mixed-use retail and multifamily developments. Mr. Schry graduated magna cum laude from University of Florida with a BSBA in Finance and Statistics
