Sarah Marulli

Sarah Marulli serves as the Controller of Property Accounting for HRC and its related investment vehicles. She leads our Property Accounting efforts across the portfolio and is integral in creating and overseeing the execution of proper accounting processes and procedures to ensure accurate record keeping. All property accounting staff report to Ms. Marulli, and she provides constant direction and feedback to ensure HRC’s standards are systematically maintained.

Prior to HRC, Ms. Marulli served as the Director of Property Accounting at Seritage Growth Properties, a public company that was principally engaged in the ownership, development, redevelopment, management, and leasing of diversified and mixed-use properties throughout the United States. In this role, she was responsible for transitioning the portfolio away from third party management and creating an in-house property accounting team. The portfolio was comprised of 97 properties, approximately 13.5 million square feet of both wholly owned and joint venture ownerships. Over her tenure there, she participated in sales of over 65 assets generating gross proceeds of $650 Million.

Ms. Marulli also previously served as the Vice President for a full service commercial real estate firm, Savitt Partners LLC, where she successfully oversaw the accounting, financial reporting, and property management for a commercial portfolio located in New York City. Ms. Marulli has over 15 years of experience in real estate accounting and graduated from SUNY Old Westbury with a B.S. in Finance.
